Kilkenny Irish Pub is Paraguay's first authentic Irish pub, opened on April 25, 2007 in the Paseo Carmelitas, Asunción's most popular gastronomic and nightlife hub. Located at Malutin and Av. España, almost all of its décor was imported from authentic pubs in Dublin and New York: posters, antiques, flags, figurines, and soccer jerseys that create a cozy, familiar atmosphere. The venue has three distinct areas: a street-facing terrace, a mezzanine level with tables, and the main room with the bar. Its picadas (shared snack boards) are legendary and receive top marks across all review platforms. Weekend live rock concerts fill the place until late. Rated 4.0/5 on TripAdvisor, it is one of the key reference points for the expat community and foreign visitors in Asunción.
