Palo Santo Brewing Co. is Paraguay's most recognized craft brewery, founded by Giuliano Franco, Ricardo Fustagno, Luis Sánchez, and Fabricio Serrati, with their public brewpub inaugurated in September 2017. Located at Del Maestro 722 c/ Gral. Garay in the heart of Villa Morra, the microbrewery produces signature beers under the Nitsuga line, a name that pays tribute to legendary Paraguayan guitarist Agustín Barrios Mangoré by spelling his first name in reverse. Each beer in the line bears the name of one of his compositions: Preludio, Maxixe, Aire Paraguayo, and Contemplación, with labels illustrated by Paraguayan visual artists. The brewpub combines the experience of watching live beer production with a food menu that perfectly pairs with the house beers.
