Tape Ruvicha S.A.E.C.A. began operations in April 1973 as a Ford dealership in Paraguay, initially importing the iconic Ford Falcon and Ford F-100 from Argentina. Founded by Don José Pappalardo, the company is now run by the third generation of the family. Over five decades, Tape Ruvicha became the official representative for Paraguay of Ford, New Holland agricultural machinery, Raven precision agriculture technology, and Beckman Coulter medical diagnostics. In the automotive sector, the group also incorporated Chery SUVs and, more recently, Jaguar and Land Rover models for the premium segment. Its main showroom is located on Avenida Madame Lynch 1516 in Asunción.
