Mosaic Fertilizantes Paraguay SRL is the local subsidiary of US multinational The Mosaic Company, one of the world's largest producers and distributors of fertilizers. In Paraguay, the company operates a production unit in Villeta with its own river terminal, with production capacity of up to 700,000 tons of fertilizers annually, currently producing approximately 250,000 tons per year. It complements its operations with the import of raw materials, blending, and bagging. In 2022, Mosaic Fertilizantes Paraguay ranked sixth among the country's largest importers with USD 194 million in imports, serving as a key link in Paraguay's agricultural supply chain.
