Costanera Shopping is a historic milestone for Encarnación and for the entire Itapúa department: it is the city's first comprehensive shopping center, opened in 2023 after years of anticipation. Located on the emblematic Costanera Avenue at the corner of Ángel Ramón Samudio, close to the Mbói Ka'e and San José beaches, the complex offers a proposal that goes well beyond conventional shopping. With 43,000 m² of total construction and 10,000 m² of gross leasable area, the mall houses 75 commercial spaces including recognized brands and local ventures. The dining offering is varied, with food courts and gourmet restaurants. The cinema halls are among the few available in the region. The most novel highlight is the February 2026 opening of 'Diverland,' Paraguay's first ice skating rink, located on the fifth floor. The 10-floor parking structure with 24-hour security is one of the largest in Paraguay's interior.
