About Grupo Texcin
Grupo Texcin (Texcin Group) is the largest textile holding in Paraguay, dedicated to garment manufacturing and textile production for export. Its operations are concentrated in the Almasol Industrial Complex, located in Mariano Roque Alonso, Central department. The group brings together several business units, among them Basic Group, Logitex and Textil San Francisco. It operates under the Maquila Law, which favors producing and exporting companies, and directs its production mainly toward Brazil and other Latin American destinations. In March 2026 Texcin formed an alliance with the Brazilian group Grupo Dass, giving rise to the firm Dasstex, with an investment of close to US$ 40 million intended to expand the production capacity of its plant in Mariano Roque Alonso and to produce global sports brands; the project foresees the generation of some 600 new jobs. The company is part of the boom of the Paraguayan textile-garment sector, whose exports exceeded US$ 323 million in 2025.
