About Sala Molière (Alianza Francesa de Asunción)
The Molière Hall is the main theater hall of the Alliance Française of Asunción, first opened on December 5, 1979. It is a legendary venue on the Asunción cultural scene, with 232 seats, two spacious dressing rooms with restrooms and air conditioning, and its own lighting, sound, and staging.
Reopened in 2010, it now has thermal and acoustic insulation, updated lighting and sound equipment, a 5.1 cinema system with a large screen, and a fire safety system. It is used for theater, dance, conferences, and book presentations, within the main building of the Alliance Française of Asunción.
