About Chacomer

Chacomer S.A.E. is one of the oldest importing groups and brand representatives in Paraguay, founded around 1956. It began by importing a wide range of items -from brushes and bicycle parts to hardware- and in 1972 it became the exclusive representative of Caloi bicycles, leading that market. Over time it diversified its portfolio by adding chainsaws, home appliances, bazaar items, watches and motorcycle accessories, incorporating brands such as Gorike, Heidemann and the Japanese Yamaha, covering high- and low-displacement segments. In 2010 its Chacomer Automotores division began operations, dedicated to the representation and assembly of commercial and passenger vehicles, today the official representative of brands such as JMC, DFSK, SERES and Suzuki. The conglomerate is currently structured into six companies: Chacomer S.A.E., Comagro, Los Pioneros, Atlantic, Alas and Chacomer Automotores, which span sectors ranging from agriculture to mass consumption and mobility. With its headquarters in Asuncion and an extensive network of branches throughout the country, Chacomer celebrated its 68th anniversary in 2024, consolidating a trajectory of sustained growth as an importer, distributor and representative of international brands in the Paraguayan market. The company is also listed on the Asuncion Stock Exchange.
