About Diesa

Diesa S.A. was born as a family business in 1953 at the hands of Miguel Carrizosa Alfaro, who obtained the third Volkswagen importer contract in the world. It was the first dealership to bring the Volkswagen brand to Paraguay; through it the famous Fusca (Beetle) arrived in the country in the 1960s, the first vehicle of the German brand to travel through Paraguayan territory. Over time Diesa became one of the most important vehicle importers and distributors in the country, of both light and heavy vehicles. In 2018 it acquired Prestigio, the Audi dealership in Paraguay, expanding its premium portfolio. Diesa is currently the exclusive importer and distributor in Paraguay of the brands Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Skoda, Scania, MAN, VW trucks (Caminhoes VW), Case, Honda Motos and Honda Power Products, totaling more than 20 renowned international brands. The company, which celebrated 70 years of experience, is also betting on electromobility and the import of trucks for freight transport. With headquarters in Asuncion and branches in the interior -including Encarnacion-, Diesa is a historic benchmark of Paraguayan automotive imports and a commercial bridge between the German and European automotive industry and the local market.
