About Shopping Mariano
Shopping Mariano was inaugurated on October 27, 2010 and is the main shopping center of the city of Mariano Roque Alonso. It is located on the Carlos Antonio Lopez Route (formerly Transchaco) corner of Teniente Manuel Irala Fernandez, on the northern edge of Greater Asuncion and a few meters from the grounds where the traditional Expo de Mariano Roque Alonso is held, the largest agricultural, industrial and commercial fair in the country. The mall brings together more than 80 commercial, gastronomic and service premises, with a mix of national and international brands for the whole family. In its gastronomic offering it has a food court with around 16 premises and capacity for more than 1,000 seated people. In entertainment it incorporated its own cinemas and adds a supermarket and clothing, electronics and telephony stores. It also has ample parking for cars and motorcycles, security, air-conditioned environments and access from different points of the complex. Its strategic proximity to the Expo entrance and its role as a commercial reference of Mariano Roque Alonso distinguish it, especially during the fair season, when it concentrates a strong flow of local visitors and visitors from the interior of the country who combine the visit to the Expo with shopping and gastronomy.
