About Instituto Guimarães Rosa
The Instituto Guimarães Rosa is the cultural arm of the Brazilian Embassy in Asunción, named after the writer João Guimarães Rosa. It is on 25 de Mayo street, at the corner of Elizardo Aquino.
Besides Portuguese classes, it opens its rooms to Brazilian and regional culture: book fairs, exhibitions, film series and literary meetings, such as the Feria Internacional del Libro Fotográfico Autoral (FILFA).
