About Paseo Carmelitas
Paseo Carmelitas is considered the epicenter of Asunción's nightlife, a semi-open complex located on Avenida España and Malutín that concentrates more than a dozen establishments in a single complex: bars, clubs, Irish pubs, karaoke bars, restaurants and entertainment venues. It's where the city gathers on weekends, with thousands of visits and reviews on international platforms. The complex brings together iconic venues like Kilkenny (Irish pub), Cover Singing Bar (karaoke), Yaya Gourmet (tapas bar), Bellini (Italian restaurant), Capitão (Brazilian steakhouse and sports bar), Sushi Club (Japanese) and Kamastro (artistic bar-resto), among others. Its semi-open design and concentration of options in one place make it the ideal starting point for any night out in Asunción. It attracts a young, affluent crowd and is ideal for foreigners who want to experience Asunción's nightlife in a safe and varied setting. Paraguay's nightlife starts late: bars begin filling up around 10-11 PM and the atmosphere continues well into the early morning hours.
