Finlatina S.A. de Finanzas began operating on February 2, 1995. According to its own institutional page, its head office is at Avda. Mcal. Estigarribia N° 469, in Asunción, and it has a branch in Villa Morra, on Avda. Mcal. López esq. Reclus.

The company offers fiduciary services, personal, corporate and commercial loans, check discounting, credit cards, revolving credit, savings accounts and CDA (savings certificates of deposit). It also states it provides payroll payments, vendor payments and bill payments, for which it says it has more than 8,000 participating merchants through its Finlatina 24 hs platform, plus non-bank correspondents.
