La Martina is a restaurant and café in San Ignacio.
San Ignacio is the capital of the Misiones department, on Route 1. The town holds a particular place in the country's history, since it was there, in 1609, that the first Jesuit reduction in what is now Paraguayan territory was founded. That history can still be traced today at the Diocesan Museum, which keeps Guaraní carvings that come from those missions. San Ignacio is also the gateway to the Jesuit route that continues through the south of the country, making it a natural starting point for travelers following that route.
