About Mary's Coffee House
Mary's Coffee House is Paraguay's first specialty coffee house, founded in 2015 by sisters Mary and Silvia Jung. Located at Lillo 1178 c/ Malutin, in the Carmelitas neighborhood of Asunción, the shop opened with a single location and expanded to three branches thanks to overwhelming demand. It is a full member of the SCAA (Specialty Coffee Association of America), making it the first Paraguayan café with that status. Their beans come from the La Cabaña farm in Santander, Colombia, under the Montebrujas brand, and they work directly with producers to ensure quality from crop to cup. Their Flat White is one of the city's most acclaimed. Mary's Coffee House has been instrumental in establishing a specialty coffee culture in Asunción.
