Condel — Conductores Eléctricos del Paraguay

Condel (Conductores Electricos del Paraguay) is a national manufacturer of low-voltage electrical conductors and cables, founded in 2008. It is part of the Luminotecnia Group -whose parent company was founded in 1981 and which also includes the units Luminotecnia (retail), Distrisol (distribution), Lumicorp and Insel (construction works). In 2024 it inaugurated its new factory in the city of Ypane, Central department, which represents an investment of more than US$ 5 million, occupies some 7,000 m2 and employs around 110 Paraguayan workers, relocating and expanding its production from its previous plant in Itaugua. Its cables are manufactured 100% in Paraguay with state-of-the-art technology and sustainable processes, and are used in homes, industries and large infrastructure works, standing out for their reliability and durability. In 2025 it carried out its first export of electrical conductors to Uruguay, marking a milestone by taking 'Made in Paraguay' electrical product to demanding international markets.
