Regional Hospital of Encarnación

The Regional Hospital of Encarnación is the main public healthcare center in Itapúa department, in southern Paraguay, operated by the Ministry of Public Health. It serves the population of Encarnación and all of Itapúa, including citizens from the German, Japanese, and Ukrainian colonization areas of the department. The hospital offers emergency services, general surgery, maternity and obstetrics, pediatrics, neonatology, intensive care, dialysis, dentistry, clinical laboratory, and pharmacy. It also attends to Argentine citizens from Misiones province who cross the Paraná River for medical care. Located in central Encarnación, close to the historic district and the Costanero waterfront.
