About Pinedo Shopping
Pinedo Shopping was inaugurated on September 29, 2012 on Avenida Mariscal Lopez, in San Lorenzo, at a strategic point where San Lorenzo, Asuncion and Fernando de la Mora meet. At the time of its opening it came to be considered the largest shopping mall in the country. It is developed over an area of some 62,500 m2 and brings together around 115 premises, including stores and gastronomic stalls, as well as cinemas. Its distinctive hallmark is the eco-friendly design: it integrates nature with about 900 m2 of interior landscaping and seeks to optimize energy consumption through LED lighting technology and the combination of closed and open spaces with natural ventilation. Among its anchor stores are the Arete supermarket, the Itau Cinecenter, the Feria Asuncion store and the Smartfit gym, along with a mix of international and national brands. It also has a food court, recreation areas and ample parking. Its location as a connecting node of the metropolitan area of Greater Asuncion and its sustainable concept distinguish it from other shopping centers in the area. Over the years it has undertaken expansion processes that reinforced its position as one of the most relevant commercial and meeting hubs of San Lorenzo.
