Level -3 of Paseo La Galería, in Asunción, has once again become the meeting point for Paraguay's auto market. CADAM Motor Show 2026, the 29th edition of the event organized by the Chamber of Automotive and Machinery Distributors (CADAM), is running from July 30 through August 9, open from 10:00 to 22:00 with free admission.

An industry group with six decades of history

CADAM brings together companies in Paraguay's automotive and machinery sector. According to the chamber's own figures, it includes more than 250 branches nationwide, represents more than 100 vehicle brands, and generates roughly 12,500 formal jobs. Its 23 member companies rank among the country's 500 largest taxpayers — the economic weight behind the scale the Motor Show reaches every year.

40 brands, 300 models, 11,000 m² under one roof

The 2026 edition occupies more than 11,000 square meters of climate-controlled exhibition space, with more than 40 brands and around 300 models on display: pickups, SUVs, cargo and passenger vans, and passenger vehicles with gasoline, hybrid and electric powertrains.

Confirmed brands include:

  • Audi, Bestune, BYD, Chery, Chevrolet, Citroën, Fiat, Ford, Foton, GAC Motor, GWM, Honda, iCAUR, JAC, Jeep, Jetour, Kia, Leapmotor, Lexus, Mazda, MINI, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Porsche, RAM, Renault, Soueast, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo.

Financing: four institutions, rates from 8.9%

One of the event's main draws is financing negotiated exclusively for the show, through alliances between banks, cooperatives and the dealerships themselves:

  • Banco Itaú: rates from 9.9%, with up to 35% off insurance for vehicles purchased at the show.
  • Banco Familiar: rates from 8.95%, terms of up to 60 months, for gasoline, hybrid and electric vehicles.
  • Ueno Bank: 9.5% for gasoline vehicles and 8.7% for hybrid/electric, financing up to 60 installments.
  • Coomecipar: financing up to 72 months, rates from 8.9%, no administrative fees, life insurance included.

The launch and its sponsors

The 2026 edition was officially presented on July 1, at an event led by Dr. Miguel Carrizosa (CADAM president), Dr. Víctor Servín (vice president) and Econ. Diego Lovera (general manager), alongside authorities, sponsors and industry representatives.

The event has Seguridad Seguros as its official insurer, Petrobras as official fuel provider and Lubrax as official lubricant, plus backing from SIPAR and media partners including Venus Media, Radio Unión, Radio Aspen, Test Drive and MotorPy.

A market on the rise

Motor Show 2026 arrives at a moment of strong momentum for the sector: according to figures released by CADAM, regional automotive sales grew 177.2% year-over-year in May 2026, while imports of hybrid and electric vehicles have been rising since 2025. The previous edition, the 28th in 2025, drew more than 12,000 visitors over eleven days of exhibition — a benchmark the 2026 edition, running two days longer, aims to surpass.
