Annex B — Ticket purchase terms
Last updated: 08/27/2026
This annex governs ticket purchases through ViaParaguay. The most important thing to know is in section 2: the party answerable for the event is not the platform, but the organiser.

1. Who this applies to
This annex applies to anyone buying tickets for an event through the Platform. It supplements the General Terms and Conditions, which continue to apply to anything not covered here.
2. The role of the platform and the organiser
ViaParaguay sells and issues tickets on behalf of the organiser of each event.
The organiser is responsible for the event in every respect: whether it actually takes place, the date, the time, the venue, the content of the show, the performers announced, the conditions of access, safety, and compliance with any licences required by the authorities.
ViaParaguay does not organise, produce or take part in staging the event, and is not answerable for how it unfolds. Its responsibility is limited to correctly issuing the ticket and processing the payment.
The identity of each event's organiser is stated on the event page before purchase.
3. Price and service charge
The ticket price is set by the organiser. The Platform may apply a service charge covering issuance, payment processing and buyer support.
Where a service charge applies, it is shown separately from the ticket price before you confirm the purchase, so you always see the total you will pay.
Prices are quoted in Guaraníes, unless the event page states another currency.
4. How the purchase is completed
The purchase process consists of the following steps: you choose the event and ticket type, indicate the quantity, enter your buyer details, review the breakdown with the total, choose a payment method and confirm.
Before confirming you may correct any detail by going back a step. Once the order is confirmed, buyer details can no longer be changed by you: you need to write to us through the contact form.
When you start the purchase, the Platform reserves your place while payment is completed. If you pay online, the reservation is held for twenty minutes. If you choose bank transfer, it is held for twenty-four hours so you can make the transfer and upload the receipt. If that period elapses without payment clearing, the order is cancelled and the tickets become available again.
The purchase is completed when payment clears. You will receive the confirmation and the tickets at the email address you provided.
5. Delivery and validity of tickets
Tickets are delivered digitally, with a unique QR code per ticket, sent to the buyer's email and available for download from the site.
Tickets are bearer tickets: they do not carry the buyer's name, and whoever presents a valid QR code at the door may enter.
For that reason, look after your ticket as you would cash. Do not post the QR code on social media or share it with anyone who is not going to use it: if someone else presents it before you do, the code is consumed and you will not be able to enter.
6. Entry to the event
You must present the QR code for each ticket on arrival, either on your phone or printed.
Each code is valid for a single entry: once scanned at the door it is invalidated. The system accepts validation within a window of six hours before the start and up to six hours after the end of the event.
The organiser may set additional conditions of access, such as a minimum age, presentation of identity documents, dress restrictions or prohibitions on bringing certain items. Those conditions are stated on the event page and complying with them is the attendee's responsibility.
7. Cancellation or rescheduling of the event
If the event is cancelled or rescheduled, the organiser is responsible for announcing it and for arranging the refund or the change of date, as well as for setting the deadline and procedure for doing so.
The Platform assists by passing that information to buyers at the email address associated with the purchase and, where the organiser so instructs and the corresponding funds allow, by processing the refund through the same payment method used.
If the organiser fails to meet its refund obligation, the Platform will make available to the buyer the information it holds about the organiser so that they can pursue their rights against them, without this implying that the Platform assumes that obligation on their behalf.
8. Exchanges, refunds and the right of withdrawal
As a general rule, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded at the buyer's discretion once the purchase is complete, save for cancellation of the event or a more favourable policy set by the organiser.
Article 26 of Law No. 1,334/1998 grants a seven calendar day right of withdrawal for contracts concluded away from business premises, as an online purchase is. That right is available to you provided the ticket has not been used and it is exercised before the date of the performance: a ticket already scanned, or whose performance has already taken place, cannot be subject to withdrawal because the service has been provided.
To exercise it, write to us through the contact form within the period, quoting the order number. We will verify that the ticket has not been used and process the refund through the same payment method.
The service charge is refunded where the cancellation is attributable to the organiser or to the Platform. Where the right of withdrawal is exercised, the amount paid is refunded in accordance with the law.
9. Buyer and attendee details
To issue the ticket we ask for your name, email address, phone number and identity document number. The email is the channel through which you receive the tickets and any notice about the event; the document number allows ownership of the purchase to be established should an issue arise.
These details are shared with the event organiser, who needs them for access control, to contact buyers in the event of a change and to meet their own legal obligations. The organiser acts as an independent controller in respect of that data.
Full details of the processing, including retention periods, are set out in the Privacy Policy.
10. If you lose your ticket
If you did not receive the email with your tickets or cannot find it, you can request it to be resent from the site by entering the email address you used to buy. Check your spam folder as well before requesting it.
Resending does not generate new tickets: it sends the same codes again, which retain their validity and their single-entry status.
11. Conduct during the event
The organiser may refuse entry to, or remove from the venue, anyone engaging in conduct that endangers their own safety or that of others, that prevents the event from running normally, or that breaches the stated conditions of access.
In such cases no refund of the ticket price is due, without prejudice to the rights that consumer protection legislation affords the person concerned.
12. Resale
Tickets are sold for personal use. Resale for profit and sale through channels not authorised by the organiser are not permitted.
The Platform cannot validate tickets acquired outside its official channels and is not answerable for codes obtained from third parties, which may already be consumed or invalid.
13. Contact
If you have any question or problem with your purchase, write to us through the contact form quoting your order number. For complaints about how the event was run, the route is the organiser, whose details appear on the event page.
