About Benjamín Aceval

<p>Benjamín Aceval is a district of the Presidente Hayes department named after the Paraguayan diplomat Benjamín Aceval, who played an active role in the territorial negotiations following the Triple Alliance War. It lies in the southern Chaco, across flat plains devoted to extensive cattle ranching.</p><p>The characteristically low population density of the entire region defines this district, where bovine livestock raising and agricultural activities provide the main livelihood for its inhabitants.</p>
