About Guajayvi

<p>Guajayvi is a district of San Pedro department in the north-central part of Paraguay's Eastern Region. Its name is of Guaraní origin, a linguistic tradition that pervades most place names in the department. The territory has a predominantly rural character.</p><p>As in other districts of the San Pedro interior, family farming and cattle ranching constitute the main sources of income for its inhabitants. The district is integrated into the department's commercial circuits through the regional road network.</p>
