About José Fassardi

<p>José Fassardi is a district in the Guairá department in eastern central Paraguay. Its surname of European origin suggests the influence of immigration that helped populate various areas of inland Paraguay during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.</p><p>The district has a rural character and an agricultural-based economy, in line with the productive profile of the Guairá department. It is part of the network of communities that articulate the departmental territory around Villarrica, the regional capital.</p>
