About Juan de Mena
Juan de Mena is a predominantly rural district in the Cordillera department, set within the hilly landscape of central Paraguay. Small-scale agriculture and livestock farming sustain the economic life of its communities. As part of Cordillera's interior, the district maintains the ties typical of the department's smallholder localities, linked by the roads that connect the interior with the departmental capital.
