About Mariscal López
Mariscal López is a residential and embassy neighborhood located in the northeast of Asunción within the San Jorge district, along the avenue of the same name that connects the city center with the main access routes. The neighborhood began to develop in the 1940s, on lands previously known as "Tuju Kua" that were gradually subdivided and urbanized. Its social profile is markedly middle-upper and upper class, with professionals, business owners, doctors, and diplomats. Within Mariscal López lies El Dorado, considered the most expensive area in Asunción. The site of the future Osvaldo Domínguez Dibb Stadium (Club Olimpia), being rebuilt to host the 2030 World Cup, is one of the neighborhood's key landmarks. Service coverage is virtually total, with 95-96% of homes having electricity and running water. The real estate offer is dominated by large residences, premium apartments, and mixed-use developments along the main avenue. For international investors and residents, Mariscal López offers prestige, strategic location, and a clearly premium profile within the Asunción market.
