About San José de los Arroyos

<p>San José de los Arroyos is a district in the department of Caaguazú, in central-eastern Paraguay. The «de los Arroyos» component of its name reflects the presence of waterways crossing the territory, a common geographic feature in this sector of the Paraná river basin.</p><p>The local economy is sustained by agricultural production, with soybean and maize cultivation and cattle activities as the traditional mainstay of rural communities in Caaguazú.
