About San Juan Bautista

<p>San Juan Bautista is the capital of the Misiones department and the main urban and administrative center of the region. It concentrates public services, commerce, and educational institutions serving the districts of southern Paraguay that make up the department.</p><p>Its economy combines commercial and service activity with the cattle ranching that predominates throughout Misiones. The city also serves as the starting point for visiting the Jesuit heritage sites and natural attractions scattered across the region.</p>
