This policy sets out the cookies and equivalent technologies ViaParaguay may store on your device, with their specific purpose and duration.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device when you visit it. They allow information to be remembered from one page to the next: that you are signed in, which language you chose, or which campaign brought you here.

Alongside cookies there are equivalent technologies, such as the browser's local storage, which serve the same purpose but are not sent to the server with every request. ViaParaguay uses it to remember display preferences within your own browser.

2. Cookies we use

The table below lists the cookies ViaParaguay may set. Some are created only if you use the corresponding feature: the affiliate attribution cookie, for instance, appears only if you reached the site through an affiliate link.

3. Measurement and advertising

The analytics and advertising cookies in the table above belong to Google and Meta, and the information they collect is shared with those companies.

Google's cookies let us know how many people visit the site, which sections they consult and which campaigns generate visits. Meta's cookies allow us to measure the performance of our ads and attribute their results correctly.

4. How to manage them

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies. The settings live in each browser's privacy options: in Chrome, under Privacy and security; in Firefox, under Enhanced Tracking Protection; in Safari, on the Privacy tab of the preferences; and in Edge, under Cookies and site permissions.

For Google's analytics cookies you can install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, available for the most widely used desktop browsers.

For Meta's advertising you can adjust your ad preferences from your account settings.

Bear in mind that blocking the necessary cookies prevents the site from working properly: you will not be able to sign in or submit forms. Blocking the analytics and advertising cookies does not affect how the site works.

5. Legal basis

The use of necessary cookies rests on performance of the contract and on our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functional service: without them the site cannot operate.

Analytics and advertising cookies are processed with your consent when you visit the site from the European Union or the United Kingdom, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679. From other jurisdictions they are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest, with the right to object described in the previous section available to you in every case.

In Paraguay, this processing is governed by Law No. 7,593/2025 on Personal Data Protection and, until it comes into force, by Law No. 1,682/2001 and its amendments.

6. Changes to this policy

This inventory is updated whenever we add or remove a tool that sets cookies. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its last updated date shown at the top.
