This notice identifies the party responsible for ViaParaguay.com and states precisely which services the platform provides and which it does not. It is the foundation on which the other legal documents rest.

ViaParaguay.com is a website operated in the Republic of Paraguay. In compliance with the identification duty set out in Law No. 4,868/2013 on Electronic Commerce, the following contact and location details are made available to users.

2. What ViaParaguay is
ViaParaguay.com is a platform for publishing listings and information about Paraguay, aimed at those looking to live, invest, work or travel in the country. The platform gathers, organises and presents both its own content and content supplied by third parties.
The services it offers, or may offer, are the following:
- Listings of properties for sale and for rent, and of real estate developments under construction.
- A directory of real estate agencies, developers, businesses, independent professionals and service providers.
- Editorial content about cities, neighbourhoods, destinations, administrative procedures and current affairs.
- A cultural and events calendar, with ticket sales and issuance carried out on behalf of the event organisers.
- Vouchers, benefits and promotions offered by participating businesses.

- Visibility and promotion services available to companies and professionals on a paid basis.

3. What ViaParaguay is not
This section matters as much as the previous one, because it defines the actual scope of the platform's liability.
ViaParaguay is not a real estate agency and does not act as a real estate broker. It takes no part in negotiations, represents neither party and receives no commission whatsoever on any sale, rental or transfer that may arise from a published listing.
ViaParaguay does not own the properties it publishes, nor does it hold a portfolio of its own. Each property belongs to its owner and is offered through a real estate agency, a developer, an independent professional or the owner directly, who is answerable for the offer remaining current and for their authority to make it.
ViaParaguay is not a party, agent, surety or guarantor of any transaction entered into between a user and an advertiser. Such contracts are concluded exclusively between those parties, who are answerable for their performance.
ViaParaguay does not organise or produce the events whose tickets it sells. It acts as a sales and issuance platform on behalf of the organiser, who is responsible for the event.
ViaParaguay does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial or investment advice. The guides, articles, calculators and estimates published on the site are purely informational and are no substitute for consulting a licensed professional.
ViaParaguay does not independently verify the accuracy of the information published by advertisers or syndicated from external sources. Verification prior to any decision rests with the user.
4. Applicable law and jurisdiction
The site and its legal documents are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay. The following are particularly relevant: Law No. 4,868/2013 on Electronic Commerce and its implementing Decree No. 1,165/2014; Law No. 1,334/1998 on Consumer and User Protection; Law No. 1,328/1998 on Copyright and Related Rights; and Law No. 7,593/2025 on Personal Data Protection.
For any dispute arising from use of the site, the parties submit to the ordinary courts of the city of Asunción, without prejudice to the venue that consumer protection legislation may afford a user qualifying as a consumer.
Users qualifying as consumers may file complaints with the Consumer and User Protection Secretariat (SEDECO).
5. Intellectual property
The structure of the site, its graphic design, its source code, its editorial texts and the selection and arrangement of the contents of its database are protected under Law No. 1,328/1998 on Copyright and Related Rights. Their reproduction, distribution or transformation, in whole or in part, without the owner's written authorisation is prohibited.
Photographs, floor plans, videos and descriptions within listings belong to those who uploaded them, who represent that they hold the rights required to publish them and grant the platform a licence limited to the provision of the service.
The name ViaParaguay and its logo identify the portal. Those wishing to reference it from another website, news outlet or partner material will find the official assets and their conditions of use in the brand guide.
