Cooperativa Yoayu Ltda. is a multi-purpose savings and credit cooperative headquartered in Asunción, Paraguay. It was founded on December 17, 1989 by 64 employees of the Instituto de Previsión Social (IPS - Social Security Institute), with an initial paid-in contribution of G. 80,000,000. Its head office is located in Asunción, at Capitán Lombardo N° 2028 c/ Tte. Benítez. Over time, membership opened up to public and private salaried workers, business owners and micro-entrepreneurs. It currently has 13 branches and more than 48,000 active members in different cities across the country. Among its financial services, it offers savings, loans, credit cards and debit cards.
