Nicolás González Oddone (NGO SAECA)

Nicolas Gonzalez Oddone S.A.E.C.A. (NGO) is a Paraguayan company with more than 70 years of experience, specialized in the import, distribution and sale of home appliances, small household devices, personal items and consumer electronics. Its origins date back to June 1945, when Don Nicolas Benito Gonzalez Oddone obtained his merchant license and founded "Nicolas Gonzalez Oddone Representaciones" to represent and distribute food, beverages, textiles, preserves and various items. In 1953 he gathered his own capital and launched into importing, being a pioneer in transistor radios. In 1964 the company consolidated with 70 employees and transformed from sole proprietorship to corporation, importing tractors, harvesters, vehicles and household items. NGO owns the proprietary TOKYO brand of home appliances, which it markets wholesale with full warranty and high quality standards, in addition to distributing exclusive brands. In 1995 it became a Publicly Traded Corporation (SAECA), accessing the capital market. Its distribution center has some 40,000 m2 of infrastructure, a specialized fleet and a network of more than 80 authorized technical service representatives throughout the country. With headquarters in Asuncion, NGO is synonymous with financial soundness and prestige in the Paraguayan home appliance sector.
