TORO Restaurant is the project of well-known Paraguayan YouTuber and grill enthusiast José Balart, known online as Señor Parrilla, who managed to bring his love for perfect meats to a signature restaurant in the Trinidad neighborhood of Asunción. The concept is minimalist and centered on extreme quality: all cuts have a minimum 20-day aging in vacuum-sealed refrigeration at controlled temperature, and some are taken up to 60 days in a custom glass chamber with double ventilation at 5 degrees, producing unique flavors and textures. The venue is small and the experience is intimate, making advance reservations essential. The menu includes starters like house chorizo and Toro salad, mains like ojo de bife and tapa cuadril cooked to perfection, and desserts like the classic chocolate volcano. The wine list is carefully curated.
