About Arroyito

<p>Arroyito is a district in the department of Concepción, in northern Paraguay's Región Oriental. Its Spanish place name, a diminutive of 'arroyo' (stream), evokes the presence of small waterways that characterize the natural environment of the territory and form part of the regional hydrographic network.</p><p>Extensive cattle ranching and agricultural activities form the economic base of the district. As throughout the department, the city of Concepción serves as the commercial and services hub for the northern region of the country.</p>
