About Minga Guazú
Minga Guazú is a municipality of the Alto Paraná Department, grouped in this system within the Ciudad del Este search area due to its membership in the metropolitan area, located just 13 km from the microcentro. Founded in 1958 as "Colonia Presidente Stroessner" by Father Guido Coronel, its name combines the Quechua "minga" (community work) and the Guaraní "guasu" (large). Its 489.5 km² territory is bounded by the Acaray and Monday rivers. It is one of the most important agro-industrial hubs in the country, producing soy, corn, cassava, cotton, wheat, and sugarcane, and home to the Cargill multinational plant, the most important oil industry in Paraguay. Its main infrastructure landmark is Guaraní International Airport, one of Paraguay's most modern international airports, located along Ruta 7. The real estate offer combines agricultural farms, industrial lots in the Parque Industrial Oriente, and residential properties in the urban core. For the international investor, Minga Guazú is one of the most solid markets in Paraguay for agro-industrial and logistics investment linked to the airport.
