About Minga Porã
Minga Porã is a district of the Alto Paraná Department, located in the north of the department, grouped in this system within the Ciudad del Este search area due to its importance as a zone for rural and farm properties accessible from the departmental capital. Located approximately 90 km north of Ciudad del Este, it is better understood as a rural investment destination than a suburban one. Originally known as Colonia Malvinas, it obtained district status on March 22, 1990, separating from the district of Hernandarias. Its name combines the Quechua "minga" (community work) and the Guaraní "porã" (beautiful, good). The population exceeds 13,000 inhabitants, with a significant presence of Brazilian immigrants, and the main economic activity is agriculture: soy, corn, wheat, and cotton. Access is via the international highway, near the Itambey River. The real estate offer is dominated by farms, agricultural estates, rural lots, and homes in the urban core. For the international investor, Minga Porã represents a rural investment option in one of the most productive agricultural areas of Paraguay, with low entry tickets and sustained demand for productive land.
