About Guarambaré

Guarambaré is a district of the Central department located in the southern sector, whose name is of Guaraní origin. It forms part of the band of southern Central municipalities that maintain a balance between an inherited rural character and progressive integration into Asunción's metropolitan dynamics. The municipality fits within the characteristic landscape of the southern part of Central department, where agricultural activities and residential settlements coexist in a territory gradually adapting to the growth of the metropolitan area. Guarambaré retains features of its history as an established community in this part of the country.
