About Isla Pucu
Isla Pucu is a district in Cordillera whose Guaraní name means 'long island,' a reference to the geographical features of the terrain. It is a rural locality situated in the flatter zone of the department, with agropastoral activity as its productive base. Integrated into Cordillera's district system, the municipality falls within the sphere of influence of the department's urban centers and retains the character of the smallholder communities of central Paraguay.
