About Eusebio Ayala
<p>Eusebio Ayala, known as the Capital del Queso Paraguayo (Paraguayan Cheese Capital), is one of the most commercially and productively active districts in Cordillera. The district takes its name from Paraguayan president Eusebio Ayala, who held office during the Chaco War. Artisanal cheese-making is the activity that has most defined the local identity.</p><p>Located on Route 2, the main road connecting Asunción with the eastern part of the country, the district enjoys a strategic position that supports commercial exchange and the steady flow of travelers who stop to purchase local dairy products.</p>
