About La Pastora

<p>La Pastora is a district in the department of Caaguazú, in central-eastern Paraguay. Its Spanish-rooted name evokes the pastoral and livestock environment that characterized the first settlements in the department's interior.</p><p>The local economy depends on agricultural production: soybean and maize cultivation on family farms, alongside cattle ranching.
