About Mbocayaty del Yhaguy

Mbocayaty del Yhaguy is a district in northern Cordillera whose name evokes its Guaraní heritage and the presence of the Yhaguy River, a waterway that defines part of the department's northern geography. Rural activity predominates across its territory. Like many localities in the interior of Cordillera, the district combines a community life rooted in smallholder farming with the natural resources offered by the river and the surrounding hills.
