About Nueva Asunción

<p>Nueva Asunción is a district located in the western part of the Presidente Hayes department, deep in the Paraguayan Chaco. Its extensive flat lands are typical of this region, where large-scale cattle ranching is the dominant land use.</p><p>With a very low population density, the district reflects the general conditions of the Chaco interior: vast distances between settlements, limited infrastructure, and a natural landscape of dry forest and grasslands.</p>
