About Puerto Adela

<p>Puerto Adela is a district in the department of Canindeyú, in northeastern Paraguay. The word «puerto» (port) in its name suggests a historical connection to the waterways that structured transport and commerce in the eastern region of the country during the colonization period.</p><p>Agricultural activity, with an emphasis on soybean cultivation, forms the economic backbone of the district.
