About San Alberto

<p>San Alberto is a district in the department of Alto Paraná, in eastern Paraguay, located in an area of strong Brazilian colonial influence that developed during the second half of the twentieth century. This presence gives the district a distinctive cultural and economic character within the department.</p><p>Soybeans and livestock farming are the pillars of its economy, as in other border districts of Alto Paraná. Proximity to Brazil has fostered commercial and cultural exchanges that define the identity of the area.</p>
