Banco Familiar

Banco Familiar S.A.E.C.A. is headquartered in Asunción. According to its own institutional page, its history began in 1967 with the founding of Crédito Familiar, which became Financiera Familiar in 1992 and merged with FIGESA in 2003 to combine retail and corporate services. In November 2008, the Central Bank of Paraguay authorized its conversion into Banco Familiar S.A.E.C.A. through Resolution No. 2, Minutes No. 95.

The bank states its mission is to meet the financial needs of individuals and companies by offering savings, credit and service solutions. Its products include accounts, cards, personal, home and vehicle loans, currency exchange, money transfers, savings and investments, plus foreign trade and SME solutions on the business side. It serves customers through Banca Web, branches, ATMs and payment points.
