Banco GNB Paraguay

Banco GNB Paraguay S.A.E.C.A. is a private financial institution that has operated in the country since 1920, when it began as a branch of an international bank based in Asunción. Over the years, the entity changed its name and ownership several times before becoming part of Grupo Financiero GNB, majority-owned by the Gilinski family. In 2021 it formalized the acquisition of one hundred percent of the shares of BBVA Paraguay S.A., and on July 1, 2022 it completed the legal merger between Banco GNB Paraguay and Banco GNB Fusión, operating since then under a single corporate name.

The bank serves individuals, companies and small and medium businesses, with dedicated segments such as Premier banking and treasury services. Its products include savings and checking accounts, cards, loans and insurance. Its service channels include branches, ATMs, online banking, WhatsApp support and a phone line available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. According to its own website, the bank has more than 20 branches and around 960 employees in Paraguay.
