About Banco Nacional de Fomento

The Banco Nacional de Fomento (BNF) is a public bank that, according to its own mission statement, provides financial services prioritizing inclusive and sustainable strategic projects, to promote the country's economic and social development. Since the 2017 reform of its charter under Law No. 5800/2017, it operates as a public, autonomous legal entity owned by the Paraguayan State.

The BNF offers checking accounts, savings accounts, savings certificates of deposit, basic accounts, loans, debit and credit cards, plus services for commercial stores and corporate banking. Its customers can operate through Banca Web and the BNF Móvil app, and access a network of more than 80 branches and customer service centers nationwide, along with ATMs and non-bank correspondents.
