Coomecipar Ltda. began in 1967 as the savings fund of the Paraguayan Circle of Physicians and was formally established as a cooperative on October 19, 1972. It is a cooperative originally linked to health professionals, and it currently has 108,057 active members, according to figures published by the cooperative itself as of July 2026.
Its services include credit, credit and debit cards, savings accounts, rentals, solidarity activities, prepaid healthcare (SPS), and an app/ServiWeb for handling transactions from a phone or computer.
