About Alzati Books & Coffee Shop
Alzati Books & Coffee Shop is the most romantic literary and gastronomic corner in Asunción, located in a century-old historic mansion at España 1484 esq. Gral. Santos. The project was created by Tomás Achinelli and Mathias Lugo, who combined their love of books and gastronomy into a space that invites you to stay for hours. In addition to books for sale, the venue has a free public library where any visitor can pick up a book and read on-site. The menu pairs specialty coffee with chocolate croissants, Paraguayan mbejú, brunch, pizzas, and sandwiches, in a cultural setting that includes film screenings, art events, and creative pop-ups.
