About La Encarnación
La Encarnación is a neighborhood in the Historic Center of Asunción, located in a central area close to the Paraguay River, with an approximate population of 4,928 inhabitants. It is characterized by a dense presence of traditional and colonial buildings, alongside institutional headquarters. The neighborhood is home to the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, the Hotel Excelsior, the commercial center of the same name, the Asunción Supercentro, the headquarters of the state channel Paraguay TV, and the historic La Negrita bakery. Its religious heart is the Church of the Encarnación. The area also includes traditional schools such as the Italian School Dante Alighieri, and is close to the Auditorio Ruy Díaz de Guzmán, the Palacio de los López, and the Casa de la Independencia. The real estate offer combines old buildings, properties for restoration, and units in mixed-use towers.
