About San Estanislao

San Estanislao, widely known by its Guaraní name Santaní, is one of the main urban and commercial centers of San Pedro department in north-central Eastern Paraguay. Its position in the departmental road network makes it a regional reference point for agricultural trade. Agriculture—soybeans, cotton, and sunflower—and cattle ranching form the economic backbone of the district. It offers commercial services, educational and health institutions that also serve neighboring districts, consolidating its role as a service hub for the department.
